As an amateur radio operator ensuring antennas are properly guyed is of the utmost importance for both safety of others and equipment! Never has there been a product, like the Piranha, that makes guying amateur radio antennas such a breeze! I never have to worry about the rope loosening up or any knots slipping.

I use it to tie my kayak down in the bed of my truck. Its handy because of it size. I leave it on my keys so I don't misplace it.

I got a piranha gear tie to test them out. I have purchased the mini diesel fish via the kickstarter campaign but I wanted to test out how good the tie down system was. I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the metal is great and the grooves just pick up paracord and hold it effortlessly. I would be more than comfortable tying down my tarps, tent fly, bedrolls, clothes lines or whatever else needs a tie down at base camp. I am very impressed and I am looking forward to purchasing more for my boyfriend and our friends for camping. Talking to customer service is great as they are a small startup and seem to really care about their customers. I look forward to seeing what new inventions the future will bring.
